Nippombashi is the sacred ground of Otaku culture, representing western Japan. Shops specializing in animation, games, robots, and model trains in addition to ‘Maid Cafes’ line the streets, ever bustling with Otaku people. It is also popular among tourists from abroad. You can hear English, Chinese and Korean being exchanged in the shops. Japanese Otaku culture is drawing attention from the world.
